But not to be deterred, I spent part of the drive home searching the Internet for another one in my price range – and I found it over at Vintage Cals on Etsy!
This amazing shop only sells vintage globes and I had to exhibit much restraint to only buy one! But I am beyond ecstatic with my choice – a beautiful 1934 Tin Globe being held up by Atlas.
It’s even cooler in person and adds just the right amount of color to my vintage camera collection!!
It´s wonderful, love it! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis globe look so cool!! Great buy!
ReplyDeleteps. I totally love "bookhou at home" too :)
I love vintage globes!! Good that you got one after all!
ReplyDeleteOh, oh... this is dangerous territory! I LOVE globes.... already have a few. If I click on that Etsy link my wallet is going to suffer, I just know it. Your globe is gorgeous Jenn!

Hi Jenn! I Love the globe, it's so detailed and I love all the details on the foot.
ReplyDeleteI just want to thank you so so much for the lovely and inspiring comment you left on my blog, regarding the death of my cat Plastic. I really truly appreciate your kindness and uplifting words. Hope you are having a great day!

I love globes - especially vintage ones! I was looking at one myself last weekend... but I managed to resist temptation - there are so many things on my wish list! Your's looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love these so much!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cool. The globes that you find at the store today just don't have this kind of quality... not to mention interest. A zodiac at the base of the globe-- I mean, c'mon-- that's awesome!
